About Newbee Publication

Newbee Publication is an Irish educational publishing and health-tech company dedicated to improving wellbeing, learning, and professional development for children, families, educators, healthcare professionals, and communities.

Founded by Richa Yadav, a teacher, special educator, author, yoga instructor and entrepreneur, alongside Jagdish Prasad Yadav, a senior occupational therapist with more than three decades of clinical experience, Newbee Publication combines education, wellbeing, therapy and digital innovation to create practical solutions that make a meaningful difference in people’s lives.

Our Story

Our journey began during the COVID-19 pandemic — a time when people across the world were struggling with uncertainty, stress, isolation and emotional exhaustion. Families were searching for ways to support their mental wellbeing, children needed meaningful educational activities at home, and professionals were facing increasing pressure.

What started as a simple effort to create children’s activity books, educational workbooks, therapeutic resources and wellbeing journals gradually evolved into a wider mission: to create practical, accessible solutions that genuinely improve people’s lives.

We came to Ireland more than two decades ago with no roadmap — just determination, curiosity, and a belief that challenges can become possibilities. Ireland became our home, and also the place where we discovered that you do not need a business background to build meaningful solutions. You need purpose.

Newbee Publication

Newbee Publication began as a small idea to create better educational and therapeutic books for children, parents and professionals. Today, it has developed more than 180 educational, wellbeing and therapeutic resources including books, journals, workbooks, ebooks, audiobooks and digital materials distributed internationally through platforms such as Amazon, Apple Books and Google Play Books.

Locus Therapy App

Locus Therapy App grew from watching parents of neurodivergent children struggle during long waiting times for support services. Combining Jagdish’s clinical expertise as a senior occupational therapist with Richa’s educational and creative background, we developed a parent-guided digital therapy platform designed to support families through practical activities, screening tools, educational guidance and home-based therapy programmes.

myCPD.ie

myCPD.ie emerged after seeing healthcare professionals — including Jagdish and his colleagues — overwhelmed by CPD paperwork and administrative pressure. Despite having no formal coding background, we built an AI-powered CPD platform focused on simplifying professional workload and making documentation easier, faster and more practical.

Newbee Publication and its associated projects have received recognition through multiple business, innovation, education and entrepreneurship platforms in Ireland.

Beyond Business

Alongside entrepreneurship, Richa continues to work as a part-time secondary school teacher in County Kilkenny, a qualified special educator and a yoga instructor in Waterford for more than 10 years.

Creativity has always remained central to her journey. Her novel My Piece of the Sky placed third at the American Gem Literary Festival. Her book Half-Life, inspired by true events, is published on Amazon. Her short screenplay 15 Days was shortlisted at the Waterford Film Festival in 2012, and her Hindi short stories are also available through Amazon publishing platforms.

Our Team

We are a multinational team united by a shared mission to create impactful educational and therapeutic resources. Our founders, Richa and Jagdish, are based in Ireland alongside Ann, Anuj and Shreyaj. Parul Cedilnik contributes her expertise from Germany, while Anil, Jyoti and Anjuman bring valuable experience and insight from India.

Our wider team includes occupational therapists, educators, psychologists and creative professionals who collaborate to design practical, evidence-informed solutions that support learning, wellbeing, therapy and professional development.

Our Mission

To make high-quality educational, wellbeing and professional support accessible through practical resources, compassionate innovation and evidence-informed solutions.

Our Vision

We believe meaningful innovation does not always begin with funding, technical expertise or perfect conditions. Sometimes it begins simply by observing people, understanding their struggles and choosing to create solutions with the skills available.

You do not need perfect conditions to start something meaningful — only the courage to begin.
